Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use Settlement Helper or buy a licence for it. Please read them before you pay.
About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Pronasoft India Pvt. Ltd., Solapur, Maharashtra 413006, India ("we", "us"), which runs Settlement Helper, the website and web app at settlement.pronasoft.com. By using the app or buying a licence you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
What the app does
Settlement Helper reads the payment gateway settlement exports and bank statements you open in it, and shows the fees, GST and payouts in them. It runs in your browser. The files you open are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us.
The free plan
You can use the free plan without signing up or paying. It runs on your own files, and reports made on it carry a watermark. It is there so you can check that the app works with your files before you buy.
Plans and prices
The Merchant plan costs ₹1,499 a year and the CA practice plan costs ₹7,999 a year. GST at 18% is added to both. Prices are in Indian rupees, and the full amount is shown before you pay.
We may change prices for future purchases. A change never affects a licence you have already paid for.
Payment
Payments are made through Razorpay by UPI, card or netbanking. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay's own terms also apply to the payment.
Your licence
- One payment buys one licence for 365 days from the day of payment.
- A Merchant licence can be active on up to 3 devices at once. A CA practice licence can be active on up to 5 devices and covers up to 50 client workspaces.
- You can free a device in Settings and use the licence on another one.
- The licence is for you and your business only. You may not share, sell, rent or publish your licence key, or let anyone outside your business use it.
Delivery
Licences are digital. After a successful payment you enter your Razorpay payment ID in the app and the licence starts at once. Nothing is shipped.
Renewal
There is no subscription and no automatic charge. When a licence ends, the app keeps working on the free plan and your files stay on your device. New reports carry a watermark until you buy another year.
No refunds
All sales are final and payments are not refunded. The Refund and Cancellation Policy explains this in full.
Your files and data
Your files stay on your device and you are responsible for them: for having the right to use them, for keeping your own copies, and for how you use the results. Clearing your browser data, or losing the device, deletes what the app saved there, and we cannot recover it.
The Privacy Policy explains the small amount of data we do hold.
Not financial or tax advice
The app's figures come from the files you open and the fee and GST rules built into it. They are for your information only and are not financial, tax, legal or accounting advice. Check the figures before you rely on them, and ask your chartered accountant before you file a return or claim input tax credit.
Fair use
Do not use the app for anything unlawful, try to get around the licence checks, copy or resell the app, or interfere with our servers.
When we revoke a licence
We may revoke a licence, without a refund, if these terms are broken, if the key is shared or resold, or if the payment is refunded or reversed through a chargeback. A revoked key stops working on every device.
Availability
We work to keep the app and the licence server running, but we cannot promise they will always be available or free of errors. The app is provided as it is.
Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, penalties, interest or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the licence the claim is about.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and changes apply from that date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to resolve the matter.
Language
These terms are also available in Hindi and Marathi. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies.
